BAUN Faculty of Sport Sciences Achieves Accreditation for All Three of Its Programs

The Coaching Education, Sports Management, and Physical Education and Sports Teaching programs within the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Balıkesir University have been accredited for a period of two years by the Sports Sciences Association – Sports Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Board (SPORAK).

This accreditation certifies the faculty’s commitment to high-quality education, academic competence, and compliance with national and international standards.

The Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya GÖKTAŞ, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating:

“This accreditation serves as an important indicator affirming the academic quality and educational standards of our faculty. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel OĞURLU, and the senior administration of our university for their continuous support throughout every stage of this process. Our goal is to further advance this achievement and strengthen our faculty’s position both nationally and internationally.”
